LIBERTY New JERSEY
As someone who still has their very first childhood train set, I was thrilled to create this illustration for a new permanent exhibit at Liberty Science Center titled The Great Train Set. The illustration, located just inside the exhibit entrance, is displayed in various scales typically used in train reproduction ranging from 1:160 (the smallest size) to a full life size rendition (at least the nose)...approximately 16 ft. tall! The exhibit itself showcases a magnificent collection of meticulously crafted trains and models that present a nostalgic view of the Lackawanna Railroad as it was in 1952.
